Diversity and Inclusivity Statement

The Menopause Modules is committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone. Health and wellness are fundamental rights for all, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, sexual orientations, physical abilities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and lived experiences. All individuals are unique and deserve access to education, information, support, and guidance relevant to their health.

The Menopause Modules uses the terms "woman" and "women" to represent individuals born with ovaries and XX chromosomes, for simplicity and convention. However, we recognize that not all people born with these characteristics identify as women, and not all who identify as women were born with ovaries or XX chromosomes.

Data and research on the health of women in general, and women beyond the reproductive stage, more specifically, is limited. Research on the health of gender-diverse individuals is currently limited to an even greater extent. The Menopause Modules acknowledges the need for more inclusive research that reflects the diversity of lived experiences. The Menopause Modules is committed to actively listening, learning, and evolving to bridge knowledge gaps and provide inclusive, respectful, and relevant health resources for all people.
