Make Informed Choices
The Menopause Modules serves as a comprehensive educational resource for evidence-based information that validates individual experiences, provides in-depth knowledge, and empowers women to make informed choices for management of their menopause.
What We Offer
The Menopause Modules offers two distinct streams of education, designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals navigating the menopause transition.
What We Assure
Working with a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) offers several significant benefits for individuals during the menopause transition.
Menopause Society Certified Practitioners (MSCPs) are educated specifically to understand the complexities of menopause, including hormonal changes, symptoms, and long-term health implications.
An MSCP doesn’t just focus on symptom management but takes a complete view of menopause and its downstream health impacts in order to address and plan for short- and long-term physical and psychological health.
MSCPs are experts in providing education and options for the management of a wide range of menopause-related symptoms, as well as the downstream health effects caused by menopausal hormone changes.
Menopause can be a challenging time on many levels. Certified practitioners have a deep understanding not only of the physical consequences but also of the psychological impact of the experience, including anxiety and depression, and approach care with empathy and compassion.

Get to Know Us
Menopause education is crucial because it equips individuals to navigate this transformative stage with the knowledge and tools necessary to manage symptoms and maintain long-term health. In the U.S. alone, approximately 6,000 women reach menopause every day, and by 2030, over 1.1 billion women globally will be menopausal (The Menopause Society).
The hormonal changes of menopause can have downstream health effects beyond immediate symptoms like hot flashes, genitourinary concerns concerns, or mood and sleep disturbances:
● Cardiovascular health: Estrogen loss increases the risk of heart disease, the leading cause of death in women after menopause.
● Bone health: Postmenopausal women can lose up to 20% of their bone density in the first 5–7 years after menopause, increasing the risk of osteoporosis and fractures (National Osteoporosis Foundation).
● Cognition and brain health: Hormonal shifts may contribute to changes in memory, focus, and an increased risk of cognitive decline or dementia (Alzheimer’s Association).
● Metabolic health: Menopause is associated with weight gain, changes in body composition, and an increased risk of type 2 diabetes.
Despite these widespread impacts, many patients feel unprepared to manage them (The Menopause Society). Many healthcare practitioners report being equally unprepared to support their patients through the menopause transition, as the topic of menopause is covered minimally, if at all, in many medical and healthcare curriculums. Additionally, only 7% of eligible women use hormone therapy, often due to lack of knowledge or fear, even though it can significantly improve quality of life and reduce risks for some conditions when prescribed appropriately (The Menopause Society, 2022).
The Menopause Modules provide evidence-based education on the topics of hormone therapy, non-hormone pharmacotherapy, and lifestyle strategies to address menopausal symptoms, downstream health effects, and overall well-being. Education empowers individuals to make informed decisions, advocate for their health, and engage collaboratively with licensed prescribing healthcare providers to thrive during and after the menopause transition.
The Menopause Modules are designed for anyone interested in learning more about the menopause transition. This education will be particularly beneficial for women aged 35–60, who may be navigating their own menopause experience and who wish to be empowered with the knowledge and tools necessary to actively engage with their healthcare providers for comprehensive care. Whether you're experiencing symptoms, planning for a healthy future, or simply curious about the science of menopause, The Menopause Modules provide valuable education and tools for a transitional time.
The Menopause Modules provides evidence-based education on menopause symptoms (including hot flashes and night sweats, the genitourinary syndrome of menopause, skin/hair/body changes, sleep/mood/cognitive concerns) and the downstream health effects of menopausal hormone changes (including cardiometabolic health, bone health, and brain health). This education also covers clinical guidelines and best practices for hormone therapy, non-hormone pharmacotherapy, and lifestyle medicine including nutrition, exercise, sleep, and mental health supports, for the management of menopause.
The Menopause Society (formerly The North American Menopause Society or NAMS) is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the health and quality of life of women during midlife and beyond, with a focus on menopause and healthy aging. The Society sets the gold standard for evidence-based education, research, and clinical care in the field of menopause.
Practitioners certified by The Menopause Society are given the credential “MSCP” (Menopause Society Certified Practitioners). MSCPs have completed rigorous education and passed comprehensive examinations to demonstrate their expertise in menopause care. Certification ensures that practitioners are up to date on the latest scientific research and clinical guidelines, equipping them to provide trustworthy, informed education and, in some cases, care tailored to individual needs.
Choosing a practitioner certified by The Menopause Society ensures you are guided by someone with validated knowledge and a commitment to excellence in menopause and healthy aging support.
As a chiropractor, my scope of clinical practice is limited in some areas including the ability to order certain diagnostic evaluations and the prescription of hormone and non-hormone medications which are essential components to comprehensive menopause care. While health education does fall within the chiropractic scope of practice, certain key aspects of menopause care, such as sexual health and genitourinary health as well as mental health, also fall outside the chiropractic designation.
Consequently, I offer The Menopause Modules as a health education series under my designation as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). The individualized consultation series and the comprehensive online course both focus on providing evidence-based information about the menopause transition to help you understand the symptoms and health impacts, explore available treatment options, and make informed decisions for the management of your menopause experience, in collaboration with licensed prescribing practitioners. While I do not provide clinical menopause care, I empower you with the knowledge and tools necessary to actively engage with licensed, prescribing healthcare providers for comprehensive care.
The Menopause Modules are offered as an educational service under the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) designation, not under the chiropractic designation. Because this program is not a chiropractic service, it is unlikely to be covered by extended health benefits plans.
We recommend checking with your benefits provider to confirm whether educational services related to menopause care might be reimbursed. Payment receipts will specify the service as educational and not clinical care.
